No, most buyers do not know that the builder has already budgeted into the sales price the cost of paying a Buyer´s Agent, and it could even cost you more by not having representation. So, what happens when the buyer does not have a Buyer´s Agent? The builder or site agent has just made more money and you are without representation.

Upon walking into a new construction sales office, the sales person (who may or may not be a REALTOR®) will ask you to "sign-in." Once you do that, you have given up your right to have a REALTOR® represent you. It is best to have your Buyer's Agent accompany you the first time you visit a new construction site.
